Our stay was lovely, no negatives, the host was engaging and delightful, and the staff were respectful but very attentive when required. It has a relaxing and quiet vibe about it, perfectly proportioned, plenty of privacy, and the swimming pool is simply stunning. There is an outdoor, but covered, lounge and eating area which can be used at any time to relax in. The meals were exceptional! The staff will advise and organise local trips, drivers, and have a handy tuk tuk chap on standby. We will definitely be returning and would recommend it to those wishing for a chilled and relaxing stay.

The staff was very friendly, room was clean and spacious! the view was beautiful and nearby beach had turtles we had the pleasure to meet. Food option was good. Tharusha was very helpful and courteous. The beach near the hotel is not suitable for swimming, a few meters to the left you can find turtles and on the right 15 mins walk later you can find a nice pleasant beach to swim and there's a restuarant which has a tree swing as well which was fun!

Beautiful old house in the countryside. Comfortable rooms and well kept gardens. The staff here are friendly and very helpful and the Sri Lankan breakfast is delicious.. Highly recommended

Such a peaceful setting in a jungle. The rooms were very spacious, clean, and comfortable. Staff were fantastic and friendly. Quick 10 minute walk to the beach and restaurants and a quick drive to Unawatuna beach and town. We really enjoyed it here!

Location is easy to find and staff are very helpful and friendly.

The rooms are exceptionally large and beautifully designed, with every little detail carefully thought through. From the massive bathtub (even too big for two), the super comfortable oversized bed with great sheets, to the reserve collection Spa Ceylon toiletries and elegant fixtures, everything feels luxurious and works perfectly. The lighting, color tones, and greenery outside the windows create a calm, stylish atmosphere, with lots of natural light and very high ceilings that still feel intimate and cozy. The staff are well trained, so they felt attentive without being intrusive. Breakfast was high quality and quite expansive tbh. The pool is huge with plenty of loungers, making the whole place feel spacious and relaxed, almost like staying in a large boutique villa with friends. Biggest treat was that the surrounding rice paddies filled up so many fireflies at night, the setting is absolutely magical. There are lovely jungle roads nearby for running, a great yoga space, and the couple’s massage was the best we had in Sri Lanka (better than other boutique hotels and at a lower price..) This place is now in our top 5 boutique hotels in Sri Lanka .

The rooms were clean and very spacious. It was very elegant inside the room. The beds were super comfy. The pool was accessible anytime and had a good space and depth. The view was sceneric which overlooked a paddy field. Also the host was super friendly and very supportive on our requests. I would definetly not think twice to stay here whenever I'm back to the area.

Wega villa is very nice, cozy and comfortable place with friendly staff and calm situation. It is locate in 40 minutes for a walk distance from Unawatuna, but nearby are shops, grocery and other points. In 15 minutes for a walk distance is 2200 years Temple. In 25 minutes on a walk distance is very good place for Ioga and massages. Also, you can fishing over the river, cause villa locate across the river. Swimming pool is clear and very nice to have good time.

If I could give this 100 stars I would! The most beautiful place I have ever stayed! Great staff, food, and views!

The room was exceptional for the price range and could easily have been valued higher. Both the room and bathroom were spotless, with sanitisation checks clearly displayed to show they had been properly cleaned. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and accommodating throughout our stay. We arrived late for breakfast and were the last to leave, but the staff patiently waited for us to finish without making us feel rushed. Overall, the hotel, room, and bathroom were of a standard you would normally expect from a well-known chain hotel in the country. Highly recommended.

Lovely colonial style hotel which was exceptionally clean and comfortable

Everything. Location is perfect so close to all main beaches. Staff also. The owner ordered food for us. Booked a tuk tuk . The room is so clean with air condition , tv, clothing iron . I felt so safe like I was at my home.

Great location - right across from the beach and a 5 Min walk to the main drag in town (via beach). Amazing views over the water and town. Specious rooms with good AC. Friendly staff Being up the hill meant it was super quiet and away from the fray
