This hotel was amazing. It was clean. The staff was nice and the views were excellent. Extremely relaxing.

Beautiful hotel, walking distance to all you need. Two pools (one indoor and one outdoor) are fabulous !

The breakfast was good. We enjoyed the indoor heated pool and relaxing bed/chairs. The shower was great and separate toilet area convenient. The staff were all very friendly . Quiet neighborhood and close to the highways and easy to travel to Leiria.

Nicely appointed unit - very comfy and bright. We didn't use the kitchen (other than the glasses for water and wine) but seemed to have all you might need to cook your own meals (stovetop but no real oven - only microwave) - plates, pots, pans, silverware, etc. Hotel reception person was very friendly and informative as to where to park, places to walk to for lunch, etc - even gave us a map of the immediate downtown area with some restaurant suggestions circled. Unit was very quiet at night. We enjoyed the rooftop bar and the 'buy one get one free' coupon we got at check-in. Many downtown restaurants are just a few minutes walk away over the river. The castle is about a 10-15 minute walk - and a good deal of uphill - easily done for those of normal health and ability. PRO TIP: I'd done my 'research' via Google Map satellite view and saw a 'fat spot' in the road directly in front of the hotel - presumably there to allow you to temporarily park while registering. Upon arrival that area was fenced off. The town was crawling with traffic and was stuffed full of already-parked cars. I happened to 'luck out' and find an on-street parking spot about 1/4 mile down the road from the hotel. But when you register you will learn that there is an underground parking garage on the same road as the hotel - just slightly NE of the hotel. This is where you will 'officially' park as a hotel guest (and free for hotel guests - they will validate the ticket you get upon entering so that you can exit for free) - the hotel elevator even goes directly down to this parking level. So when you arrive, just go directly to that underground lot and park there before you visit reception.
