Our suite was flooded with sunlight from morning to evening, beautifully designed and impossibly clean. Every detail felt thoughtful: towels that smelled like vanilla cake, high-end bath products, and a bed so comfortable it felt like floating. At night, subtle lighting made the whole place glow with a kind of old-world, art deco magic. Breakfast was a daily highlight — fresh, flavorful, and with enough variety to make each morning feel new. Whether we were heading out by car or ATV, we were perfectly situated to explore every corner of the island, and we did — slowly, meaningfully, meeting locals, wandering off path, letting the island unfold naturally. And the people? The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely caring — you could feel they wanted you to love your time there as much as they do. If you’re not into the rushed cruise ship version of Santorini, this is your spot. It’s for travelers, not tourists. The Ark gave us the kind of stay we were hoping for — calm, connected, and full of small, perfect moments.

I looked at several prior to booking this property. I kept coming back to it due to the consistent reviews of the staff and their efforts to make your stay the best it can be and enjoyable. Thank you to all previous reviewers as they were spot on ! Irene and her staff really go out of their way to make your experience the best. They were fabulous and enjoyable to work with. The location at the souther tip is the best. We spend time in both Fira and Oia and we’re so thankful we chose this property and it southern location. The best word that would describe it is tranquil. Away from the hustle and bustle but easy to access the entire island’s offerings. I would highly renting a car for your trip. Ample parking right right at the front door of the property. It’s double gated and our safety was never a concern during our visit. Their breakfast is amazing each day. The room refrigerator is stocked with drinks. The views from the rooms , pool, and fire pit were incredible. No need to go to the crowded cities as you are in solitude watching the magnificent sun sets right from this property. I can’t say enough about this place and if we do revisit - it’s a “No brainer” that we would choose this property again.
