Glamping Sites in Mhamid

The owners of the camp were really friendly and helpful, they picked us up on the street (the entry to the dessert) and guided us to the camp. The street to the camp is a little rough but it’s doable with a normal car. They welcomed us with some delicious tea. We did a 1 hour camel ride for sunset. Dinner has also been really delicious.

The staff was very helpful, and the location on the edge of the desert was perfect.

I live in Morocco , I visited many deserts, so I always look for authenticity whenever traveling. And this is what I found in Larbi’s place. It has been a great experience which will stay in my best memories of Morocco. Thanks Larbi!

We had a good time. This is in the middle of the Sahara, with plenty of dunes nearby, camels resting in the distance, and a clear sky that allows us to see the stars beautifully. After dinner, an authentic song by the Berbers who run the place around the campfire. I did enjoy it a lot.

Personal is very nice and try to find solution as much as possible The food was really good also

The camp is perfectly situated on the edge of the dunes. The adobe rooms are better than tents because they are cooler during the day and warmer during the cold nights. The staff was fantastic, cooking excellent meals and playing drums and singing around the campfire at night. Hamsa, the guide and driver did an excellent job.

Staying at the Chegaga Berber Camp was nothing short of spectacular—a true desert adventure! From M'hamid, our guide Moubarek expertly navigated the desert to our campsite, enhancing the journey with sights of caravans and oases. The camp itself was authentically Berber, blending tradition with comfort to create a serene escape. Highlights included a stunning sunset walk, a candlelit dinner under the stars with heartfelt music, and engaging conversations with our hosts about life in the Sahara. Thanks, Mohamed and Ali. This experience is a must for anyone looking to connect with nature and culture in a profound way.

The host was very generous and hospitable. The dinner and breakfast were both delicious and homemade.

Dawood and Hicham have been so nice with us, helped us in any way possible, from letting us cook to use the washing machine. Plus the breakfast was 10/10! Living in Morocco means that whenever I travel around I only look for authentic places. Dawoods place is one of them! Thank you Dawood, you are such a good host!

Not only the power of the desert was decisive for my experience, but also the care. My tent, traditional, furnished with large bed, good mattress and shower, nothing was missing. The food was delicious. Everything professionally organised especially the trip to erg Chegaga it was fab. visiting nomads and camel ride before sunset that was really great and staff cordial. Everything was perfect. Said and his staff they were very friendly and helpful. They made an amazing trip for us to high dunes of Chegaga and almost was great experience. Food and accommodation were very good. Thank you guys looking forward to come back again.

Mubarak was an amazing host. He wanted for us to take us to the camping the middle of the dunes, and hosted a wonderful Berber dinner, and fire party for us. We are grateful to him and his crew. The place is beautiful. A true desert experience. We look forward to coming back.
