The campsite is on a hill with lovely views, close to a fine town and the city of Carcassonne. I had a lovely wooden chalet, cosy and full of character. I didn't use the recreational amenities, or the restaurant, but the toilet and shower block was modern, spotlessly clean and above all warm inside. The best was the staff, who were so friendly and cheerful and welcoming. It's a great place to stay and amazing value.

The cottage looked brand new and very nice. Minimally and tastefully decorated inside and out. The air conditioning was an absolute dream. But the view is incredible. Spectacular, really. Even though the cottages are relatively close together, we felt like we had a lot of privacy. It was very quiet at night and we slept great. It was great to be able to park the car right next to the cottage - it made unpacking/packing the car so much easier. Kitchen well-stocked with the basics. We only ate in the restaurant one night but the food was good. Definitely recommend-we will absolutely be back. Wish we could have stayed longer!
