The Shepherd’s Hut was the PERFECT place for my holiday. It is exactly as pictured. Bed was perfectly comfy. Cereal, milk, juice, coffee, tea, bread and biscuits provided. Bathroom was small but adequate (what else would you expect- a double vanity and claw foot tub? 😉🤣). Moville is quaint and I’m pretty sure everyone knows everyone else. Eileen was a gorgeous host- always willing to offer help. Of a taxi is needed, use Skelly taxi. Donal, the owner, is a delight. Basically gave me a personal tour of Malin Head. Though more he only takes cash. The outside area of the hut was serene and beautiful. I can’t wait to go back and spend more time time. It’s best suited for 1 person. I suppose you could do 2, but it would be very tight.

The quirky but extremely thoughtful finishes. The amazingly well equipped and spotless kitchen for our meal prep. The comfy sitting room with plenty wood and kindling for a cozy fire. We stayed in the bunked railway carriage. Comfy beds with crisp good quality bed linen. The beautiful out door area the quietness the whirring of the watermill . In other words everything !

Myself and my partner stayed here for one night and it was the most tranquil get away. Beautiful views all around and the units and grounds are spotlessly clean. The owner Harry made sure we had plenty of info to navigate the our stay with ease, very attentive and welcoming. We’ll definitely be coming back
