After the initial hustle and chaos of India, staying at Mountainview Homestay is a welcome place to unwind. Asfal and his friends are friendly and easy to talk to, and they give great tips on what to see and do in the area. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the atmosphere is wonderfully relaxed. Waking up to a view of the green trees, with a cup of good coffee is pure bliss. It’s incredibly peaceful, with the occasional playful troop of monkeys on the roof to break the silence, peeking curiously at you as they play. In short, the perfect spot to recharge before diving back into colorful, bustling India. P.S. Asfal also helped us with the next leg of our trip. He arranged a taxi driver to take us to the Alleppey, and along the way shared lots about the history of Kerala and India, tea plantations, and Hinduism. We made several stops and got to try local sweets – highly recommended!

The ambience outside the glamp was incredibly calm and serene, making it a perfect escape. The glamp itself was beautifully designed, well-maintained, and very aesthetic. Shins was extremely cooperative and ensured our stay was comfortable throughout. He was also kind enough to assist us with arranging food from outside, which made the experience even more convenient. Overall, it was a lovely and relaxing stay.
