Great view when mount fuji is clear. Beside from that it's a great place to just relax and enjoy. Having a car or other transportation is very much needed. I travelled on a motorcycle.

We stayed for 2 nights from April 5, 2025. Luckily we got a big room with a great view of lake Yamanaka and Mt Fuji. It’s a Japanese style room. We stayed on the 2nd floor of the bldg adjacent to the main building where the shared bath (one for men and one for women) located. The shared bath has 5 showers and a rectangular tub for onsen (water temperature is very hot in the onsen). There are 3 toilets on the 2nd floor in our bldg shared among 4 rooms. The toilet rooms are very small. There are 2 sinks next to the toilet rooms. Everything was very clean and functional. There’s a big refrigerator and hot water dispenser with tea & coffee right outside our room. The owners are very nice and kind. They don’t speak English but used a phone with translation app so there’s no problem communicating. Highly recommended to order both breakfast and dinner here. Pay cash in advance when order with the owners. 1000 JPY for breakfast and 2000 JPY for dinner for one person. The food was plentiful, delicious and gorgeously displayed. There are steps away from Hirano beach where we took many beautiful photos of the sunrise on Mt Fuji. The hotel is 2 minutes walk to Hirano bus stop.

Located a 10-minute drive away from Lake Kawaguchi, Kawaguchiko Country Cottage Ban features a great view of Mt. Fuji and free Wi-Fi throughout the property.
