Very peaceful and comfortable place.

The experience was wonderful and just as the pictures on the website appear! My daughter and I loved the peacefulness of the location, the shower and a/c were great, the beds were comfy (they are the kind you sink into; my back did hurt a bit as I'm used to a really firm mattress but it was soft and inviting), and the atmosphere was just what we needed. We stayed here not only for the glamping experience but also because it was a great location for checking out the towns all around, which was the purpose of our trip. The thoughtfulness of the owners to provide earplugs (it is located near a well traveled road) for those wanting to have a truly quiet sleep was definitely a pleasant surprise. My family loves the sounds of nature (we love to camp) and we can sleep easily through mild noises so the road traffic was not an issue for us. A few things we will bring for our next stay are a box fan (mostly for circulation in the bathroom area), a tiny portable nightstand (to hold glasses and chargers) and our puppies because this is truly a pet friendly place. There are 5 units situated close enough for visiting but spacious enough for privacy. We enjoyed visiting with our neighbors and their dogs. Finding the location was a bit difficult as the link on Booking.com was incorrect (trust me...we arrived after 10:00 pm and the direction to turn down Cypress Mill Road is wrong!!!). So make sure you physically lookup 12 Fires and their directions...do not type in 100 Durango Road, Johnson City as Google will take you somewhere else! Hint: It is right off the road and next to a castle on a hill. The signage is not helpful if you don't know where you are going so truly follow 12 Fires instructions. If you arrive late look for the Tent City sign as that is where they are! If you are looking for a unique stay then we highly recommend Glamping at 12 Fires! We will definitely plan a return visit and stay!

This is exactly as advertised. Comfortable bed, warm shower, mini kitchen etc. I can’t wait to come back.

So easy to check in, just off the i10 made it really convenient, place was super neat and cute with loads of cool decor. Very peaceful spot. Jet-Bubble Tub was amazing! Worth going out of your way to visit Comfort (cute town!) and to stay at this sweet place. We even saw deer grazing outside this morning.

Hill Country getaway, relaxed and laidback, ideal for long stays right on the coast of the lake. There is boat dock access and kayaks can be rented by the hour or by the day, as well as fishing lines and bait. Owner was understanding when I came in late and helped me into the cabin just fine. Property has a couple of cats which are well adjusted to people and will greet you in the mornings. Option to be woken up by staff with coffee if you'd like. Linens can be washed on site. The cabin is like a little house, equipped with a couch, kitchen sink, TV, microwave, and shower. So cozy and personable. There is an HEB about 10 minutes away, Inks Lake and trails are about 20 minutes, Longhorn Caverns are also about 20 minutes in the opposite direction. Truly an ideal place to spend a long weekend. Definitely will be back!
