PortugalWhen I came down for breakfast, I asked if I could buy the bed. It was SO comfortable! My room was clean and cozy and had 2 windows with views of the garden and the neighbor's garden. The breakfast was carefully prepared, and we were offered choices. I chose an 'omelette,' potatoes, fresh fruit, yogurt, and a croissant. The place has a tiny in-ground pool that's heated to 84 degrees, and the home is located walking distance from a lakeside park, the Marais de la Riviere aux Cerises (a delightful walking area) and a very good supermarket.

Lovely golf hotel and had upgrade to an executive suite so was even better. Staff very friendly. Lovely and clean suite. Nice to sit outside at night. So peaceful. Could not fault it.

This is a stunning location near Mont Orford, with green golf courses, lake, and paths. The village of Cherry River (Orford) is also great, with micro-breweries and great little cafes and restaurants. The hotel itself is large and commodius, and we have loved it before because of the pools, outdoor hot tub, large rooms, etc. but our stay wasn't as great as it has been for us in the past. It think the hotel is ready for some investment in maintenance.
