Super clean, deep in nature, comfy bed, great breakfast

It was simply gorgeous. Pristine views of the valley and mountains. The room was clean and comfortable and well-stocked with thick blankets and pillows, plus robes and toiletries! The host was very gracious and cooked delicious meals for us. They also had a very sweet dog!

We’ve returned to this stunning mountain house multiple times, and it never fails to impress! Nestled in breathtaking scenery, the cozy yet spacious interior offers everything you need—modern amenities, a fully equipped kitchen, and a fireplace that makes evenings magical. The hosts are incredibly responsive, ensuring every stay feels seamless and welcoming. The hiking trails nearby are a dream, and the serene atmosphere is perfect for unwinding. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

A simple, family-run guesthouse. The family is very kind and welcoming. The cabins are well-equipped and comfortable. If anything is missing—like hot water for coffee—you can simply ask. All the food is homemade on-site: cheeses, pies, bread, etc. The food is simple and tasty. If you’d like something specific (like soup or fish, for example), it’s best to request it around noon—they’ll prepare it if available. The atmosphere is wonderful—quiet and relaxed. We stayed for two nights.

The perfect guest house. We came super late (we climbed to Zla Kolata) and they wasn’t mad. She even made us a dinner. It was the best soup and chicken with potatoes I ever had. And the breakfast was also delicious. All the family was super nice.

The room is very comfortable, with a large and comfortable bed and a shared bathroom. The dinner was excellent (14€) and the host were very welcoming. It's a bit beyond the Balkan trail itinerary, but there are many lodges around. Thank you!

We had a fantastic stay at Riverside Guesthouse. The hospitality was warm and the staff very kind and welcoming. The room was clean, comfortable, and offered beautiful mountain views. The homemade food was delicious, and the sauna was perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking in the mountains. The location is ideal for exploring Prokletije and the Peaks of the Balkans trail. We will definitely come back again.

This property is new to Booking but don't let that scare you, it's an amazing option for lodging in Vusanje. The owner/host is super friendly and you can tell he's dedicated to making his property one of the best in the area. He built 5-6 brand new cabins on his property, each is well constructed and has everything you'd need for your stay. He even built a covered sitting area with picnic tables, which was a really nice tough. He also has a mini bar in the cabins, which makes it easy to get a beer after a long hike on the POB. And the mini bar items are super affordable.
