Guest Houses in Ghent

It was at a great location (heart of Ghent!) and it was extremely clean and tidy. One of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in while traveling across Europe. Bathrooms was lovely.

The room felt old timey, and I loved the vibe of it; the bathroom was very modern though, which was very interesting. You can see the Geraard De Duivelsteen from the window, and many attractions are within walking distance. You also get free continental and hot breakfast, which was really nice.

Location and with a smooth checkin process. Since there’s no reception or staff to directly contact, it has to be this way.

Excellent location in the middle of everything. Exceptionally walkable, great amenities and excellent recommendations for local spots from the owners.

Everything. If you're looking for a place in Gent, you cannot do better. Rooms are all themed art projects, and quite lovely. Amazing host, who offered us a free cocktail at his equally unique bar. Wish we stayed more than one night..

The bathroom was great. The beds were comfortable.

The neighborhood and the hotel are extremely quiet and peaceful. Amazing stay, check in was easy and quick. Each room has a name, the staff leave a box labeled with your room name (you'll get an email telling you exactly which room was assigned to you) at the reception desk on the ground floor. The box contains the keys to the front door of the building and to your room.

Everything. The host was perfect. Accomodation was clean and comfortable. Christmas market was walking distance.

Very cool with the bikes! Great neighborhood. Easy to walk everywhere. Very good bars and restaurants in the close vicinity. Super friendly people. Super market close by. Large community fridge. Marc is very nice!

The hosts were super friendly and helpful. If we’re in Ghent again, definitely gonna stay there. We stayed at th Chocolate room.

Room was very clean as was the shared bathroom. There is a shared kitchen on the floor which we didn’t use. Instructions to access the property were really clear and sent in advance.

Location and the layout of the apartment.

Everything was great at the cozy suite. Hot shower (great water pressure), lots of towels, super comfy bed, several very fluffy throw blankets. The hosts left some snacks and drinks too which was unexpected but such a nice surprise! The wifi was fast as well. Besides daily normal outside noise during normal hours the room was super super quiet. The windows all had optional shades and a curtain for the front area (if you noticed it was glass). Overall I really really enjoyed it and when I came "home" at the end of my adventures I felt relaxed and happy.
