Gorgeous second-floor room with balcony, bathroom, ocean view. Well-screened windows on three sides let you feel like you are waking up in the jungle without any worries of bugs. Very comfy bed and clean furnishings, AC works great and indoor/outdoor kitchen is spacious and well-stocked. The house is a few minutes walk to the uncrowded beach and there is a waterfall nearby too. Property is well-kept, full of fruit trees. James is very warm, hospitable, and responsive. He’s also a great surf instructor! It was my boyfriend’s first time in the water and by the end of the session he had caught waves and stood up! There are boards available to rent at the house and James has plenty of local recommendations for surf breaks, tides, etc. Super lovely place to relax.

The location was great, right in town and walkable to the beach, grocery stores, and restaurants. There was air conditioning, potable water, hot water in the shower, safety features, and a beautifully stocked and clean kitchen and bathroom. The host was very welcoming and communicative!
