The name of this outstanding place is program - the mill of Love. Nina is a careering host, paying attention to details and made the stay very joyful. The support of her mother in the kitchen made the stay more enjoyable with local food influenced by her Ukrainian origin. The breakfast on the photo is prepared for one person ! The spacious room offered a look to the river and the old mill from the 12th century, a bathroom with a real shower (a lot of water flowing), newly established and modern. The Guest House is located on a farm with cattle, chicken, pigs in the countryside, about 10 km to La Roche Posay. During this time of the year it was very quiet and a lot of time to be on my own. The big heart of the hosts and their joyfulness made a difference for me. I recommend the place to anybody looking for a break from the usual life filled with activity, even to friends living in the area.

We stopped over for a single night on our way from Caen to Arcachon. It was very peaceful and we really enjoyed our evening watching and listening to birds such as cuckoo, nightingale and black redstart. Our host was very friendly and helpful and provided a very good breakfast. We would highly recommend it.
