Very comfortable stay in a charming home

Very nice room, clean and modern décoration. Lovely breakfast and nice pool !

The building is a convent and has a calm aura. It is situated next to a very traditional French bar with excellent local beers and a genuine and friendly welcome. We were treated very kindly and the dinner was incredible. A homemade three course feast with an aperitif and wine. Breakfast too was delicious, fresh pain au chocolat, bread, jam, cake, cereal, orange juice, and we had a huge pot of tea with plenty of milk. The room and bathroom were spacious with high ceilings and most importantly the bed was extremely comfortable, dark curtains shut out the early morning light, and the double shower was powerful with hot water. Yes, there is a certain slightly faded French chic, and on first impressions although the building is certainly very attractive from the outside the rooms may not seem quite so impressive, I certainly recommend staying here. We loved it. Thank you very much.

This property was perfect for our needs, as we were simply looking for a comfortable stopover before reaching our final destination. The host was very welcoming, and the absolute highlight of our stay was the amazing breakfast she delivered in the morning. It included fresh bread, local produce, homemade jam and delicious viennoiseries - truly a dream and such a generous touch. As the host lives just above the flat, she was extremely responsive and punctual, which we really appreciated. The flat was very clean, well equipped, and we were able to park right in front of the property. It took us around ten minutes to walk to the beautiful UNESCO-listed cathedral and the Christmas market. We also had dinner in an incredible wine cellar nearby, which made for a very wholesome and enjoyable evening. One small practical note for future guests: there is another property with the same number about one hundred metres further down the road, which is not the correct address. We waited there briefly before realising our mistake. Other than that, everything was excellent, and we would happily recommend this place.
