The setting is a wonderful retreat in a peaceful rural setting. The staff was exceptionally attentive and kind. The Breakfast was very nice. Just a note to those who are less athletic: there are quite a few steps on the way to the Tower unit [the spacious one bedroom + kitchen is very nice].

L'Escapade Place Voltaire is a charming 300 year old residence being given some tlc by the young couple who own it. Our room was comfortable, bathroom impressive and breakfast good. Vermenton is a pleasant little town near some interesting countryside (we visited the delightful Parc Naturelle Nationale du Bois de Parc) and handy for the motorway.
