We had a wonderful stay! The apartment was very clean, the furniture was new, and it had everything we needed. Highly recommended.

Our stay at Phyllida Guest House was exceptional, thanks to the attentive and generous hospitality of Aggeliki, our friendly hostess. After a tiring trip, which included our car breaking down just before Tripolis, our hostess welcomed us with genuine warmth and immediately served up some delicious food, including dakos salad and zucchini fritters (yummy!). The room was cozy, clean, equipped with a toaster and kettle to make our breakfast and tea and with a beautiful private garden. Aggeliki, an artist, had even given the surrounding houses an artistic touch by painting the key chains and some other objects. During our stay, she provided us with valuable suggestions for restaurants and activities to make the most out of our time. Throughout our stay, we felt cared for and comfortable. The booking process via booking.com was seamless, and the peaceful surroundings ensured that we slept soundly every night. During our last night, there was a wedding celebration next to the property of Phyllida which kept us a little awake, but our hostess informed us a lot earlier about the festivities and even allowed us a late check-out next day for free! In addition to its overall charm, one of the standout features of Phyllida Guest House is its wonderful garden, adorned with vibrant flowers and lush greens. The serene surroundings create a sense of peacefulness, allowing guests to fully unwind and embrace the silence of the countryside. All in all, we couldn't have asked for a more perfect stay at Phyllida Guest House. We will return, that’s for sure! Thank you so much, Aggeliki, for everything! The guesthouse is a perfect place to stay to visit Olympia. One street up from the downtown center it provides an oasis of quiet but still just a three minute walk to restaurants, shops and all you need. Additionally, all the sites are within an easy walk so park the car in safe and accessible spots right in front of the hotel and you don’t need to bother with it again until you leave. A lovely breakfast every morning to start the day and you must try the very special hand crafted cocktails created with care at the bar. Some of the best drinks we’ve ever had. Great Wi-Fi. Overall a perfect experience.

A 10 is not enough to describe our experience in Bacchus. The inn has an amazing view (great sunset view too!) and a very cozy, rustic feel to it, aided by the basis on stone and wood. The room was spacious, spotless and fully outfitted with all the usual hotel equipment. All furniture and appliances were in great condition. The dining area is very pretty and the breakfast selection was varied and delicious all around. The restaurant has great food and reasonable prices. The pool is another highlight. It definitely is the cleanest one I've ever been to and is very beautifully decorated. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, they made us feel right at home from the very first second. I'll also have to praise Bacchus for being careful about conserving water and energy (e.g. 2 modes for flushing water, A/C goes on standby when windows are open). All in all, if you are in the area, this is the place to stay, no questions asked. We are already planning our next visit!

Kostas is the best owner we found in Greece! What an amazing experience he make and what kind and energetic is his way to communicate with guests. The place is quite central, very walkable to ancient Olympia and museums, we even didn’t had to use our car there.
