Family run hospitality, I was a female solo traveller and this place made me feel very safe and calm. Probably as close as you can be to the hustle and bustle of the CBD without noise pollution - just the relaxing sound of the waterfall right at your doorstep. I had a wonderful stay at Vashishth Guest House in Rishikesh this past January and couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. The service was exceptional from start to finish - friendly, attentive and the staff was always willing to help. The decor of the rooms and hotel was pleasant. The room was very comfortable, clean, warm and most importantly, quiet. We stayed in the rooms with the terrace on the top floor. The on-site restaurant provided delicious food with a varied menu and great view of the hills. Overall, Vashishth Guest House met my expectations and I would gladly stay here again and recommend it to others. Special thanks to the outstanding staff.
