I love how the space feels like coming back home, the owner is really kind, funny and I enjoy talking with him and other travelers. We sat all together and had some fun.time. The room I stayed in was a dormitory, the futon mattress was comfortable. I enjoyed the location as well. Even though it's a 30 min walk to the station, it's a really historical area and you will enjoy walking around. I highly recommend it!.

Charming little house in a great location in morioka. A 5 min walk from both the hachimangu shrine and the sakurayama shrine. Independent check in/check out so if you’re not a fan of human interaction this one’s for you. Great room with tatami mat floors and comfy futon to sleep

The Staff was lovely. The room has everything you need - comfortable chair, work desk, good bed, fridge, kettle, big wardrobe and mirror. Perfect place for a long stay with shared but clean toilets and showers. There is a shared Kitchen. They also have a café.

The owner of the Ryokan was sweet and thoughtful. She was very thorough with showing the amenities and helpful with making sure we didn't leave anything behind.. i felt like I was at my grandparents home <3 I also loved that they had books you could borrow, a family bath style onsen inside that you can lock for privacy and it came with shampoo, conditioner and body wash for the shower. Everybody in my group really loved this place and hope to come back soon!

The host is very kind and the facility has a vintage home stay charm that’s distinctively different from the ski resort hotel vibes. The facility is clean cozy and comfortable. The owner has thousands of jazz albums which he will play for you to enjoy a cup of coffee or beer. I would stay again.
