Ibrahim and his assistant couldn't have been more helpful. No request was too small or difficult. Outstanding staff. The location is wonderful too. Very strongly recommend this place. Not luxury but if you want luxury in the mountains you will struggle.

My stay at Kasbah Ait Bouguemez in Agouti was amazing. Siham, the woman in charge, speaks many languages including english (my language). She took oustanding care of me, telling me about the local historical places (Sidi Moussa) and weaving (the wool supply firm on the hill). My room was simple and clean. Everything worked - electricity and hot water. BTW: I was there in March and there was a cold snap. There is no heat in the room (its a kasbah in the high atlas mountains) so be prepared and bring a coat and warm pants this time of year. The breakfast was tasty and I had dinner every night - tagine, couscous, omelet and meatballs, etc. Outsanding food! The valley is really a big apple orchard. It is beautiful to explore, peaceful and easy. I walked through the trees and up to Timit and Tabant. I found the best place to stay in the valley. Highly recommend!

I felt at home and relaxed from the moment I walked in. Anne & Ali's hospitality was some of the best I've received in Morocco. The meals are fresh with lots of variety and local ingredients. Anne prepared a picnic lunch for me every day to take with me on my bicycle- which was great since it is Ramadan and food isn't easy to find during the day. The room was private, comfortable and spacious. I appreciated having a heater to warm the room before I went to sleep. Bathroom and shower are great. Washer was available to clean my clothes. The property is peaceful and well situated to explore Ait Bouguemez Valley. I recommend staying here!

Safranière du M' Goun has rooms that are sparsely furnished but good sized and have views over extensive apple orchards to snow capped (in April) mountains. Around the building are lovely gardens with quite a diversity of plants. It’s a quiet place from which to explore the surrounding mountains and villages. Nadia is a gem, always cheerful and welcoming. She keeps the place spotless and will prepare excellent meals on request. Mhamid is relaxed and full of advice about the area. He helped me find the saffron I wanted to take home with me. I highly recommend it. Just be prepared for the cold at an altitude of 1850 meters.

Dar Ait Bouguemez offers accommodations in Azilal. There's a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay.

Very well located at the very end of the valley Good start point to go to lac Izoughar and many other destinations as Taghia, Azurki. A very nice walk is simply to explore the valley from the house, and to make a loop towards the circus, through "gardens ", along fields, seguias and through 2-3 villages. Very nice, big and comfortable room Very nice terrasse Very nice host ( Saìd and his wife) Very good breakfast and diner (different soups, tagine, couscous,...) .
