Bokmakierie Villas in Windhoek was like a peaceful sanctuary. The room was super comfortable including my own private courtyard and a big bath. The delicious home made rusks were a very welcome touch. Hosts, Jan and Mariette were very helpful with any inquiries before my arrival, during my stay and were very kind to me when I wasn't feeling well. There was a coffee shop and also a castle restaurant within easy walking distance. The city center was not far by taxi (LEFA worked well for me). As a solo traveler, I felt very safe at Bokmakierie Villas.

Very welcoming guesthouse with a range of rooms / apartments. We had a spacious family apartment with its own outside seating area. Great breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff, flexible check-in/check-out times, lovely garden areas, safe off-street parking in this very quiet but still central location. Big thanks to our hosts and the whole team!

Nice building, inside the decoration of the hotel is very unique, in your room you have a tv, fridge, kettle. It is quiet, safe. You can book this guesthouse if you don t want to stay in windhoek city center and have a rest. I thank you the young lady at the reception who cleaned my shower however it was not her job. She was very kind, professionnal lady. The bar is open until 10 pm.
