We enjoyed the quiet and peaceful setting where the proprietors were warm and welcoming and prepared for us excellent meals. True Romanian hospitality! Do be aware this is a cash only establishment.

Simple and sweet pensiun run by a local family in a small village in the valley. Highlight of our stay was driving up the mountain road (just 100m north of the house) for panoramic views over the mountains at dusk. They rent ATVs if your cat can't handle the roads. Breakfast and dinner on site if you call in advance or full use of the pensiun kitchen.

Amazing place to stay. A lot of space, very clean, great attention to details. The pictures don't do it justice. You are surrounded by mountains and it is very quiet. Would definitely come back and we are grateful that such a place exists around the Lacu Roșu/Bicaz area.

Everything was clean, neat and cozy. Very quiet area in a nice location.

The view was wonderful, the house was very clean, and everything was prepared perfectly for our stay, including the firewood. The location was truly a 10/10, very easy to find and situated in a central area, just a 5-minute walk from the lake.

In the heart of the forest, a magical corner of nature. Surrounded by streams and a dense forest. The rooms are spacious, with a stunning view of nature, very clean and cozy rooms, great hot shower. The owners are pleasant and welcoming, speak good English. I will definitely come back again to stay.
