I have visited Zanzibar before and stayed at a few hotels (large and small) and this is by far my favorite hotel, my kids and I did not want to leave. It was a hidden gem! The staff were very friendly, the owners were always available and very sweet and kind, the food was the best in Zanzibar. It’s a very quiet and lovely getaway. The beach felt like a private beach away from the overbearing Masai and tourists. The hotel was very cozy, authentic and unique. The rooms were spacious, the balcony was stunning and watching the sunrise every day was beautiful, AC was working perfectly, rooms was always clean and they clean twice a day. If you want to relax.. this is the place to stay! The owners and staff quickly became our family. Thank you for the most beautiful stay, we will be back again! The property was at an excellent location and Roxana, the host was super flexible and helpful. She advised us on many many things from the airport transfer to arranging tours and restaurants to visit as well. Even though breakfast was the same every day (toast, eggs, fruit salad) it was always substantial and tasty. The beach is very close with lots of places (hotels, restaurants) to visit and even spend the day at. There is a dog and a cat at the property both being extremely friendly as well. We would certainly go back here if we were to visit Zanzibar again!

We enjoyed everything about the guesthouse: relaxed atmosphere, wonderful homemade food, access to the beach, safety, cleanliness, hospitality, also it is a very cozy and nice looking home. Margaret knows a lot about the island and local culture, and cares about supporting the community. We liked that the guesthouse is far from the touristic areas, though you can have any excursion from there upon your interests. Zanzibari curries were delicious, lobster and seafood barbecue was awesome. We went to sunset sailing once and took a trip for swimming with dolphins, we were lucky to see a big group of them! If we come back to Zanzibar on holidays, we don’t need to look for another place to stay, for sure. Thank you Mags 🩷

The photos honestly don’t do this place justice — it is even more beautiful in real life! The apartment is absolutely stunning, cozy, and designed with great taste. Everything was perfectly clean, spotless in every detail. The location is very quiet and peaceful, yet only a 7–9 minute walk to the beach, which was ideal for us. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking, and we especially loved the terrace — it was such a wonderful place to relax and eat there. The staff and the host were incredibly welcoming and helpful. They assisted us with everything we needed, including organizing excursions, which made our stay even more enjoyable and stress-free. We were honestly sad to leave. I 100% recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!

The staff at Pano Pano were really kind and helpful.They were super friendly and helpful.Everything that we needed we did get it in good time. The parking was also good and safe.The location is also convenient because we could leave and get in at any time even at night.Breakfast was amazing and served speedily when we got to the table.My boyfriend and I had a really good time and we will definitely be back.

The house was spacious, situated at the best location. We had warm water to shower every time we needed. It was quiet everytime we needed a rest yet close enough when you need to have social interaction. The staff were all amazingly good. Chiku, The Chef and house keeper were all very helpful and kind. I highly recommend this place.
