Everything! This is a homestay with the most wonderful local family. They were extremely helpful with everything like picking us up from the train station, taking us to the supermarket and even returning us to the station when we left. We spontaneously went hiking together and ended up spending the entire day together. It felt like a home away from home 😊🩷 They even invited us to dinner and sake at a local izakaya - the BEST food we’ve had so far in Japan. Thank you for everything, see you in Switzerland!

We had the whole first floor of the house for ourselves. It felt like home with a kitchen, living room, dining area, bedroom and fireplace area. The futons were really comfortable. Koh had put everything we needed for breakfast (and more) in the fridge so we could prepare it ourselves. There were also snacks and chocolates for us. A first aid kit was available. Koh was always here in case we needed help for something. I highly recommend it !!!

The breakfast and dinner were excellent - well rounded and nutritionally balanced meals. The bathrooms and rooms were very clean and comfortable. Since it was off season, we had the place to ourselves. It was a relaxing experience.

Worked out wonderfully for us as we were the only people staying in the premises, so functionally had a huge big place to ourselves. Comfortable and warm beds, good bathroom, lots of space. Grocery store very conveniently nearby. Staff were wonderful and let us stay until the afternoon as our transport out of town wasn't until later, very much appreciated <3
