Liked the aesthetics and vibe were 💯! It was a great location near lots of great things (7-11, coffee shops), and very comfortable. The host was wonderful and we love his vision for the environment and welcoming others.

Very cool old house, felt like staying in a part of history. Our host was incredibly welcoming and helpful, even offering to make reservations for us to grab dinner. I only regret that I was too busy to use the onsen during my stay.

I really like the guest house experience, which sets it apart from cheap hotels and apartments. As a solo traveler, I was welcomed and introduced to Kesennuma warmly. I will come back if I’m in the area!

This guesthouse had the cleanest bathroom I've seen so far, and was exceptionally comfortable. The room and facilities were perfect and satisfied all my needs. Over and above this, the host, Miki, was an absolute delight! So were the other guests present. The atmosphere was very homely and I really felt as though I was staying over with family or friends, even though I was travelling alone. I would love to go back the next time I visit the area.
