There was one particular staff member who was so helpful, he showed us how to use the microwave and was just really kind. The view of this place is phenomenal, I know there were some fancier hotels at sea level and I think those really miss out on these gorgeous views. We watched sea eagles flying in and it was a delight. The onsen was wonderful and quiet. We had tatami beds and western beds. The common areas had beautiful views as well, cool hand painted murals, and interesting books. This place was just delightful with great views.

The owner very kindly let me put my bicycle inside of her shed because of a very strong storm that was coming I stayed there for two days in the off-season right before skiing really could start and had a lovely time relaxing in the comfy rooms and the warmth. Everyone I met in town was very lovely and open to talking

Yamamoto-san and his family were so accommodating and friendly. The homemade meals were exceptional and they are good company. The privacy of the guest room at the top level was very comfortable. The room was well-thought out and well-lit and has good views of the neighbourhood.
