The stay in Tropical Tree Guesthouse definitely made our holidays in Maldives. The treatment & highly professional way of interacting with the guests is phenomenal, and deserves all the praise. The guesthouse staff demonstrated a great level of enthusiasm and hospitality. (Despite of rather small size of the lodge and lack of any luxury). Very well done! The excursions offered by the hotel (we booked 2x fishing tours and snorkeling) were simply amazing (especially the fishing tours). It was different from any other plain vanilla „commercial“ tours we previously met other countries. The tours are being performed with high level of enthusiasm and efforts of the guides. We definitely recommend to visit the wonderful island and especially this hotel to everyone, who is willing to explore the „Real“- Maldives.

This one is located in a residential island. You can experience the everyday life of Maldivians. It close to lots of place to do excursions. Staffs are very nice and helpful. If you don’t want spend extra money on expensive resort island. Here is definitely a good choice for you to spend less and enjoy more.

Extremely friendly, very nice staff! Selfie and Yogi are warm-hearted people who are truly passionate about taking good care of their guests. While Selfie cooked us delicious meals, Jogi ensured that the property was always clean and very well maintained. Oli, who operated more in the background and organised arrival and departure, was also very friendly and helpful. The guest house is in the middle of an authentic village and we enjoyed it very much that everything on the island was in walking distance, including the fabulous beaches. The locals are very friendly too.

I wanted to book Dhoani Maldives Guesthouse but it was full. They tell me about their new place Dhoani Maldives Boutique, so I book there. The room was big and clean, very nice and comfortable. I like the main balcony, good place to drink coffee in morning. They add us to WhatsApp group so we can order food and know about trips. For meals we go to main property, only 5 minutes walk. Everything was easy and well arranged. We go to sandbank trip, it was so beautiful, only us there! Then we do snorkeling, also very nice experience. Our stay was short but really nice. Thank you Hidha and team, you all so kind and helpful. Hope to come again next year!

The room itself was very good and extremely close to the beach. The best feature of this guesthouse is the host himself. Martin is available by Whatsapp any time of the day for anything you may need. Especially the tours organization was outstading, messaging you right after manta groups enter Hanifaru Bay or when a whale shark is spotted closeby. If you requested the Hanifaru Bay tour and you're unresponsive when mantas enters the bay, he would literally search for you at the beach, at the hotel or at the local restaurants. We stayed 5 nights and thanks to the hotel position and the tours we have been able to swim with mantas, one whale shark (at night), dolphins (watched from the boat only), sea turtles, small sharks, stingrays and morays. The reef on the island is also great with easy sandy access also during low tide.

The air-conditioned accommodation is a few steps from Dharavandhoo Beach, and guests can benefit from private parking available on site and free Wifi.

Dharavandhoo is a local island. So you should know that it is for you if you’re searching for some authentic trip without alcohol. That was ok for me and my wife. We wanted to have a rest on the beach, see some fishes, have tasty food and just to stay with comfort. What we have received? - Everything we was waiting for + - True smiles from every single person who work here. It is so wonderful that all staff carries about you, your problems, your needs. They really wanted us to have the best experience we ever had. Even it’s hard to write every single thing why I’m thankful to them because here is not allowed to write so many symbols.
