Loved this Manor type country house. Really quite an amazing surprise. I only booked as a sleep over on the way to Shannon. What a surprise to see it was a very professionally managed establishment. There was a bar and restaurant albeit we were not hungry. The room had a four poster bed. It was so traditional but not contrived like the touristy castles. We slept so well in a fab comfortable bed. The room was very big. Table and chairs, walk in wardrobe/ dressing room. It is a fine country house from a bygone Anglo Irish day. It was Christmas week and there was a display of country Christmas hampers for sale with local produce in the lobby. Very reasonably priced compared to the rubbish in the big shops in Dublin. No pressure to sell either. I would certainly stay again and hopefully have time for breakfast next time. We loved it. Thanks to all the staff.

Loved the walkable location, easy access to pubs, and to the St. Patrick's Day parade! There's a convenience store nearby as well. Plenty of room in the house, two separate living areas, four bedrooms, nice kitchen and separate laundry room! Safe driveway parking for our rental car. Kitchen had everything we needed, nice appliances. Helpful instruction book on various systems in the house. Thanks for the hospitality!

The property is in the centre of Bunratty so its very convenient to restaurants/bars and the folk park. The house itself was really nice and very comfortable. There was also a Christmas tree which was a lovely touch!
