Just what we were looking for in booking a stay in Dalvik last minute! The host was accommodating in shoveling out snow and getting the property ready on the fly. We appreciated most the beautiful, north-facing panoramic views that allowed us to catch the Northern Lights!

The old farmhouse was quaint and delightful! I enjoyed the hot tub and a nice sauna as well. The farmhouse is quite well equipped with Bluetooth audio a full kitchen, kettle and coffee maker. My stay was very comfortable. I would book again 100%! I must also share that the communication from the owner Barnji was fantastic. He is an engaging fellow and I regret that I didn’t have more time to chat before my scheduled whale watch on departure day.

It felt very private, quiet, clean. Loved the quaint size of the space, very comfortable for my partner and I. Loved that the property was a fully functioning living farm, close to Akureyri. We loved the horses! And the trees! And the aurora/viewing deck! :)
