What a special guest house. The house is huge and the gardens are special. The owner is super kind and friendly. He makes such a wonderful breakfast and truly cares about his guests. The welcome drink was so fresh too. Comfortable rooms and everything was clean. We recommend staying in Abu Simbel to see the sunrise and beat the crowds. Was a highlight of our trip. Good location, quick walk to town and to the Temple.

Our arrival was seamless; Ahmed arranged our driver from the airport, we were met by his family at the public ferry and escorted to our house, which was basic but clean and comfortable. I can't say enough about how well Ahmed looked after us and helped to arrange activities. He even offered to help coordinate things in Luxor after we left Aswan. If you'd like to experience living in a traditional Nubian neighborhood, Nefertari House is the place to be! It's also conveniently located near the public ferry and the Aswan museum/archeological site.

super nice river view from the room. And the room is clean and quiet enough. Especially compared with the city hotels, you can enjoy a quiet morning. (if you live in hotels in the Aswan city centre, you will wake up by the broadcasting from the mosque every 5am)
