AustriaOur room was incredibly spacious, spotlessly clean, and felt super cozy. The shower was great too, with excellent water pressure. 😍 But the absolute highlight of our stay was Juda. He was so attentive and genuinely caring. Every morning he prepared a fresh breakfast and tea for us, and when I mentioned having a sore throat, he kindly brought me some ginger tea. He even remembered to bring it again the next morning without me having to ask. So thoughtful and sweet. Thank you, Juda, for such a wonderful stay at your beautiful homestay.
P.S. Juda’s adorable cats were an extra bonus. They’re so cute!

United StatesJohan is incredible. I only stayed one night and was out for the Ijen tour (a very reasonably priced tour set up by Johan) from 11:30pm~9am. The rooms are very basic but work great considering you're in and out so fast. He provided breakfast after I got back and offered to let me stay and sleep as well but I needed to head off. In my hazy state, I left my shoes on the rack at his house and he even brought them to the ferry to meet me. Absolutely incredible guy.

Juda Homestay is such a beautiful place! The rooms are simple, but clean and the bed is cozy. The AC was working perfectly! The terrace is enchanting with all the plants. Juda was a great host and organised our tour to mount Ijen. Staying outside the city center had the advantage that we had the most beautiful walk to the train station through some rice fields.

Beautiful homestay located in a small village of locals surrounded by jungle and close to kawah ijen. The family that runs the homestay is incredibly sweet and make sure you have a nice stay. The nasi goreng and mie goreng is soo good. The owner was really nice and organized our tour to ijen and to the hospital to get the health certificate. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Great place, great breakfast but most of all an amazing host family, who not only take care of you at the homestay (it really feels like home) but they also show you around, as you would do with family! Amazing hospitality.

Excellent home stay experience! Hosts are incredibly kind and helpful (like arranging a ride with their friends to get us to Malang the next day!), breakfast and other foods at homestay are delicious, rooms are cozy and comfortable and location works well. We booked Ijen crater through the hotel which was a great experience.
