Homestays in Himeji

Stayed there for a couple of weeks, enjoying quiet town life. The hostel has a nice common area in traditional Japanese style. No crazy parties there, but a nice place to socialize with a cup of green tea. There is a small bar downstairs which I didn't get to check out. Very clean, staff is nice. Central. The capsules offer some sound isolation, but if someone is snoring loudly, you'll hear it, that's expected. Would gladly come back. Check Zundouya place while you're in Himeji: the best ramen I had in Japan.

Location is amazing between the station and Himeji castle, right on the shopping street. Still, the place was quiet at night and perfect for sleeping. It has a large common area, and the owner was really helpful in recommending places to visit and eat

Tomo-san was very welcoming and the atmosphere was homely. Breakfast was tasty and different both days, and it was nice to sit with the other guests and chat to them. The shower had good pressure and heat, and the room was comfortable. Himeji Castle wasn't too far to walk.
