Spacious room, location was very good. Very close to sakaimichi street. The house is stunning.

The owner is so sweet. She even helped me when my car battery died and found me someone to boost my car.

Great space, location, and thoughtful design. We were visiting to snowboard and there was ample storage and parking for us. Possible to walk to Otaru restaurants and sights but opted to drive most of the time. (we were wiped from riding). Host was very helpful!

Guest House Asahi has an excellent location, just a 3-minute walk to popular shops and attractions like the Otaru Music Box Museum. The check-in instructions were clear, and the owner was incredibly kind, upgrading us to a larger room—a pleasant surprise! Overall, we had an amazing stay.

A very nice, clean, comfortable place to stay. And price is very reasonable. Parking is free. Sea view from your bed in the morning is priceless.

Great location if you're going to Otaru. Beautiful views and cozy rooms. The hosts are very kind and there is a cafe downstairs!
