We loved everything about our stay here. The guest house had everything we needed, and the design and natural wood decorations were precisely the type of feel that we wanted for this countryside trip in Shikoku. The hosts were amazingly laid back, friendly, and helpful, including suggesting local food options, activities, and niche viewpoints. 10/10 will stay here again.

I have been using Booking.com for years. This place was one of the nicest places I HAVE EVER STAYED IN! It was s traditional Japanese house that was immaculate. The owner was superb! I can only give the highest recommendation!

Excellent home with everything you need. Amazing price for your own room. Comfortable kitchen/living space that has all you need. Very easy self check in with a very informative host. I read a review in here that said they were scared where the parking was. Totally not true, a few minute walk from the house but completely safe and I even met the family that lives right in front of it and they were super nice. Very safe area. Of course, if you want to stay at this wonderful accommodation, having a car makes it all much more easier.

Wow! This was the most amazing experience I've had in Japan. Self-service check-in, a kitchen, a brand new room, and modern design.

Kitahama Sumiyoshi is located in Takamatsu, just 4.9 miles from Yakurishion Christ Church and 5 miles from Naritasanshodaiji Temple.

Perfect launching pad to exploring the island. We were only two but could easily have fit four across two rooms (although thin walls in between). Hosts were incredibly welcoming.
