The location has a nice view of the river and mountains. It is where one of the paragliding company is located. So, some of my friends were able to try the paragliding. It’s a drive uphill, but my Hyundai Tajet van made it.

Very friendly staff. The owner speaks excellent English. He helped us with cleaning the snow off our car after a big snowstorm left it covered 6 inches deep in snow.

Cheap without any issues, exactly what you need.

I loved this place. It's on a backstreet, just off the main drag, and it consists of four rooms/mini apartments built on the flat roof of a one story building. Access is via an external staircase, and each room has an outside door leading to the walled roof which serves as a corridor. In such a set up there was no need for staff, I got a message with my room number and a code for the door, and at the external staircase there was a noticeboard which had a cellphone number to call if there were problems. The room had everything you would expect such as heating/aircon/ a fridge etc. And others that you wouldn't such as a microwave, washing machine, and (I liked this touch) plates and cutlery. There were postcards of Paris on the wall. Overall, I got the impression that good people had given some thought into how to furnish the room. It was five minutes walk from the river, if that, and from there a short stroll to the restaurants, cafes, and the night market. It's an easy walk from the bus station, but a taxi or bus ride from the train station (as is everywhere in Danyang).
