CanadaGood location. Within walking distance of bus station, airport and river. Very clean. Friendly owner without being the overly friendly type that is not authentic and just looking for a good review. Very good inside and outside communal spaces. On a quiet street. They pay attention to the little things that matter...water cooler, toilet paper option, many plants. I have travelled all over the world and this hostel is one of the best. Highly recommend.

United StatesThe family that runs the guesthouse is incredibly welcoming and the bed was comfy. They offer a fresh and delicious breakfast with your stay, as well as plenty of water when needed. They also have a gate that they lock in the evening for safety. I will definitely be back when I come to Savannakhet!

CanadaVery peaceful for sleeping. The Doctor is a wonderful lady, very polite and helpful! She REALLY goes out of her way to help you!! This is the best place I have stayed in for a long time. Excellent place. 5-10 min walk to really great food. Yeah, no question when I come back to Savannakhet I will stay here ONLY. 😁👍ypu can rent bicycle. And motorbikes right here! So once you get here you are good to go!!😁

Small cabins, with balconies set round a beautiful garden Efficiently run by a very hospitable host family - so kind that it made up for the deficiencies in the rooms. More like a homestay,with some access to kitchen equipment and good breakfasts. I rented a scooter from them, bit old but functioning. The family were really helpful with room change, information and onward transport. 10 minute walk to town centre, 30 minutes to bus station (or 50k tuktuk)..

I stayed only two nights in this family oriented homestay, the owner and her family are very nice and helpful. Even the travel guests there are very friendly.
The included breakfast consists of filter coffee and eggs, it’s convenient so you can have something hot before heading out to eat your preferred breakfast.
The room I stayed in had AC and a fan.
