Homestays in Taroudant

We enjoyed relaxing by the pools in the beautiful garden. Very friendly hosts, despite the language barrier.

The location, the design and the staff are so great. We couldn’t have expected for more. Everything was so great that made our stay in Taroudant so memorable. Location : right in the middle of the town, close to everything. Design : so lovely Staff : very friendly and helpful

Our beautiful room opened up to the pool area which added to the spaciousness. The entire dar is lush and colorful, with fruit trees and birds. Our room was lovely, but the shower was the best we had in Morocco - excellent water pressure and as hot as you want! The staff was very friendly and helpful. When walking around town, Google Maps will tell you to take the long way around the city walls (which is a nice walk, don't get me wrong) but if you walk towards Bab Sedra you can take ta short cut. The short cut is also useful when going back to dar Tourkia at night.

The staff is the most lovely, the location is perfectly central and the terrace has a perfect view for a sunset or sunrise tea. The breakfast was delicious and included very yummy, very good quality ingredients. Wholeheartedly recommending this place.

Big room, very good breakfast and evening meal, very welcoming owners, all in all an oasis of peace and quiet. It is a pity we only stayed one night here!

Dar Zaria is absolutely beautiful from the moment you step through the doorway. Our room was gorgeous in every way. The location was great, Sana and her staff were delightful and made sure we had everything that we needed. We chose to eat our evening meal there and it was delicious. The bed was very comfortable. We highly recommend a stay here. Thank you Sana and staff

A beautifully restored Riad, tastefully furnished which oozes history and possibly one or two ghosts! We had the place to ourselves which suited the four of us but might not suit those who are expecting to meet fellow visitors. Extremely quiet but the hussle and bustle of Taroudant life is just outside the door. Very well located for the two main souks and Place Assarag where you can sit drinking mint tea and watch the world go by. We had been warned that November could be cold in the morning and night and it certainly was. I managed to swim each day but it was cold as the sun didn’t really get to heat the pool. We ended up staying for five nights (I extended our stay no problem). There’s not a lot to “do” in Taroudant in the way of touristy things but for me, just wandering the labyrinth of streets and looking at all the different corners of the city was fascinating and enough. We did one day trip to Tioute which was a highlight if you’re into agricultural systems and production…fascinating. Fully functioning kitchen was good to have.
