Great 4 night stay for 2 couples spending 3 weeks in the Azores. A little tricky to find using Google maps. Ample parking, once we found it!! Easy walk to town along the ocean. Large grocery store and tasty restaurants all within walking distance. We enjoyed use of the kitchen for a couple simple dinners.

Providing inner courtyard views, CiTY CENTER in Madalena provides accommodations and a terrace. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property.

The manager was very kind and made sure we could store our luggage before check-in. The hotel's outer courtyard is neglected and unpleasant, which is a shame. The apartment is comfortable, the beds are excellent, and the water is hot.

The view , the space in the house, the swimming pool, silence, everything that we need was at house - towels, hair dryer, soap , washing liquid, even coffee.. we didn't expect that the house is so huge, on the second floor 2 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms plus sofa downstairs, huge space in the kitchen, living room with 2 tables , toilet downstairs, outside sun beds.. blankets if needed, an extra bed with a mattress if needed, a clothes dryer, a dishwasher, but still the most what we loved was the view on the ocean 🐳 wish to be back there , beautiful 😍

Sao was such a wonderful hostess!! So kind and helpful. The breakfast served here was fantastic, the room perfect for our needs and the balcony so beautiful!! Lajes was an excellent location for us, we loved the pastry shop and restaurant just up the street. Quiet but neighborly, we wouldn’t stay anywhere else on the island! Highly recommend renting a car and taking advantage of the ocean swimming holes! Sao Roque had the best one. And the bar Cella Bar near the capital has a gorgeous view!
