Hotel is above the restaurant, be prepared to climb some stairs (no elevator). The room was spacious and clean with a nice bathroom and decent sized shower. We kept the windows closed and the AC on -- AC worked beautifully and we didn't notice any noise from the street or the restaurant. The hotel is located on a busy (one-way) street which was nice to walk around - parking is a very small side alley next to the building. Staff is very friendly and the breakfast (not included) was good.

The room was clean, and the staff friendly. But they had breakfast only after 9:00, at which time I was already gone.

We found this to be the perfect family stay. The property offers wonderful facilities, including a swimming pool and a charming farm. The owner and his family are genuinely warm and welcoming and it truly feels like they enjoy hosting and sharing their culture and food. Our kids had an amazing time playing around the farm, swimming, petting the farm animals, going on a boat ride around the lake, and playing with all the toys both indoors and outdoors. Meanwhile, we appreciated the chance to unwind after a busy trip around Romania and even managed to catch up on some work in the peaceful surroundings. The village is just 15–20 minutes off the main road of the Transfăgărășan and easily accessible by car. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are especially grateful for the kind and thoughtful hospitality. Highly recommended for families looking for a relaxing and engaging retreat.

Domnu Ion was very courteous. We came late after check in time. He was understanding and he opened his doors to us when no one else would. The apartment was neat, tidy, clean, had all amenities you need, and was very much needed after a full day of traveling on the road. Domnu Ion was knowledgeable about everything!

It was so clean, and the outdoor kitchen/lounge area by the green lawn was delightful!

Good value for money with all basic facilities

The location is very good, right in the center of the city. The staff is very nice.

The room, bedding, bathroom... everything was spotlessly clean, the beds are comfortable. What I particularly liked was the very beautiful and spacious, grassy yard, which is accessed directly from the room. The location of the accommodation itself is good considering that it is located right next to the market and in short walking distance from the city center. The hosts were extremely kind and hospitable.

The nicest hosts and prettiest property! Quiet garden, lovely views, and perfect location

The hosts are friendly and generous. The facilities are neatly cared for and there is a little garden and flowers everywhere. The location is ideal stop en route to the Transfagarasan and the town has many attractions of its own.
