The hosts are incredibly friendly and welcoming. They were very responsive and accommodating for our needs coming off of the Via Transilvanica. We had the most incredible traditional meal prepared by the grandmother, we felt like she could’ve been our grandmother, and she was so warm and kind and had a great sense of humor. I cannot say enough good things about her soup and all of her food. I felt like I was at home. The house was a little gem out of time and we had the whole house for ourselves although I believe there may be other units on the property that are different. In the morning for my coffee, the owner went and milk the cow so I could have milk. A true five star experience.

Truly beautiful house with wonderfully warm hosts - we had three rooms, including a two bedroom mini-apartment and we were all very comfortable. We also had a great homemade breakfast in the morning to crown it all. Highly recommended.

The room was wonderful, perfectly clean and warm with personal heating control during the changeable weather of April - this is the highest rating! In addition - the house has a great location and a high level of customer service! Small problems with the Wi-Fi were fixed by the owner personally within a couple of minutes of my request. The terrace, located in the common area/kitchen and overlooking the local shops, is a real gem for exploring the more unique culture of Romania, sipping coffee or tea and listening to the friendly conversations of the locals, while looking out at the mountains and the magical nature of this region. My top recommendations!

We arrived late in the evening. The owner offered us a local alcoholic drink and offered to invite pizzas for us, which he went to bring to us. There were beer bottles in the room. The owners didn't save effort to make us feel comfortable.
