The owner is very caring and the facility is very neat from inside. The staff needs a bit of training but in Saudia it's kinda the same everywhere in Makkah and Madinah. It's religious tourism so taken for granted most of the time. Salaam Guest is perfect for the Family with own car. Going to and from isn't a big issue, taxis are always available for 5/10 SR a trip

I liked everything about the hotel. Ahmed is the best! He was welcoming and extremely helpful. Initially, I planned to stay two days, but my travel plans changed and I ended up staying for 7 nights. The decision to extend the stay was a no-brainer! There was nothing to dislike about the hotel. Yes, it is not easy to find but with GPS and some determination, the taxi driver and I were able to find it. The hotel is tucked away in a neighborhood and that means it has all of the comforts you need - grocery stores, restaurants, shops, banks, etc. There's also a masjid right across the street, and the imam has a beautiful recitation. It is a 20-25 minute walk to the Haram via the side of the Baqi, and that side of the Haram has been developed more. So during your walk, there are shops, restaurants, and benches to sit and rest. I only hope that, as the word spreads and traffic increases, they can maintain the level of cleanliness and affordability. Many of the hotels in al Madinah fail at that due to the 365-day-a-year traffic. Anytime that I travel alone or with a friend to al Madinah, Dana bint Ahmed is my first option.
