-There are two Dar Shams. We booked the big house to accommodate our family (6pax). -Located in Djerbahood, close to cafés, a backery and a grocery. -Nicely furnished and maintained. Well equipped Kitchen. A barbecue was available. -The host was quickly responding to our messages and was welcoming.

Lovely touch for our honeymoon with flower petals and a.pair of folded towel swans. The hotel was beautiful and we had a lovely 2 night stay there. The amenities were ample, the sheets were clean, the bed was comfortable. The wifi was good. The pool and jacuzzi looked so enticing, but we couldn't enjoy it due to the cold weather. The location in djerbahood was central to get around anywhere on the island. Taxi station is only a few minutes walk But the best of all we absolutely loved Hamza and Ibtissem. Despite our lack of Arabic and french proficiency and using Google translate they were ever so patient and kind in providing assistance whenever with needed with a smile.on their face. Breakfast that was included was generous and filling. Dinner can be provided on order was delicious and well valued. I definitely recommend Dar Naël for a few nights stay if you're visiting Djerba!

The property felt very cozy and private, clean, airy with a nice kitchen, dining room area, and a pool. Wafa, the landlady, went above and beyond to make sure that we felt welcome and all our needs were met. Highly recommend especially for longer stays. We will surely want to be back!

Where do I begin? Our stay at Villa Salam was truly the highlight of our trip to Tunisia. From the moment we arrived, we were taken by the beauty and serenity of the property. The villa is absolutely stunning, the architecture reflects traditional Tunisian style with its whitewashed walls, while the interiors are tastefully decorated with local artwork and artisan touches. It feels less like a guesthouse and more like a boutique retreat. Despite being a relatively new property, Villa Salam was incredibly well-equipped. Our room had in-unit air conditioning, a full-length mirror, and a small private balcony with a drying rack (a thoughtful touch).The bathroom had multiple hooks, something so simple but rarely found in other places, and made a big difference for convenience and comfort. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable we experienced during our time in Tunisia, soft, clean, and perfect for a restful night. Each morning, we looked forward to the delicious breakfast, featuring fresh dates picked right from the trees on the property, served with other local delights. It was such a refreshing and nourishing start to the day. The host, Fethi, went above and beyond. He was responsive, warm, and genuinely helpful. When our flight times changed unexpectedly, he arranged both airport pickup and drop-off, ensuring we weren’t overcharged or misled by taxi services. His hospitality and dedication to his guests truly made us feel welcome and safe. He’s clearly invested in making Villa Salam a special experience for travelers, and it shows in every detail. The location is also ideal, just 15 minutes by car to Houmt Souk and Djerbahood, making it easy to explore the island while having a peaceful base to return to. We’re already recommending Villa Salam to all our friends and family, and we sincerely hope to return someday. Thank you, Fethi, for making our time in Djerba so memorable. Everything was to our satisfaction. Amira, our host was great. The accomodation was perfect and the breakfast was something else. We felt welcome and we were given a ton of recommandations. The swimming pool was the cherry on cake.

This place suited me perfectly -away from the overly touristy areas but close enough to walk to the lagoon and beach where theres lots of water sports/ horse riding etc. my room was just gorgeous-the whole house is very tastefully decorated. My hosts were so friendly and helpful. I was really able to relax and unwind - being away from the crowds allowed me to experience really special things like seeing shepherds out with their flock of sheep in the evenings. Lovely breakfast every morning too- if im in Djerba again i would definitely stay here again
