Homestays in Zhuqi

The owner was so kind, she picked me up at Shizhuo bus station. She explained to me everything to see in Shizhuo and Alishan. She also took the time to do a tea tasting session. The homestay is right next to the Mist trail. I wanted to see the sunrise, and she found someone else from a nearby homestay who also wanted to do it, so we were able to split the fare of the private driver (TWD 800 each person) Highly recommend!

The host was extremely nice and helpful. The room is very nice, especially the views. There was a power outage after the typhoon and the host gave us some goodies as an apology.

It was quiet, out of the way and intimate. The service was excellent and they went out of their way to help. For foreign tourists, it’s a good way to interact with locals so make sure you have a strong grasp of the language or someone who knows the language. This place best serves local Tawainese and make sure you rent a car.

The owner was very friendly and flexible. He even let us leave our stuff there even though we already checked out. Would come again
