If you want to enjoy a rustic, calm and natural scene while visiting the Floating Market, this is the place to be. The staff is so kind and helpful, and you can so easily relax in their gorgeous garden or by their pool!

We loved staying here. It’s a break from the hustle and bustle of the city without being super rural. It is about 8 mins walk from a little market where we went to buy fruit and pho. Our little room was good- simple but with everything we needed. The staff are friendly and helpful. We ate there a few to times, giving 1 hours warning if we wanted something more than fried rice or noodles. All of the food was good. We also organized a Mekong river tour through the hotel- our guide, Viet, was great. It started at 5am so we had the sunrise and pho on the river, beautiful fresh fruits, and saw some local businesses (rice paper, cacao, vegetable and flower seedlings). For us this didn’t feel too touristic, just an interesting experience where we learned a lot. It was 2,500,000 for 2 people for 4 hours including all admissions, breakfast and coffee. We very much recommend this hotel.

All in one word - EXCELLENT! The staff was super friendly. The host was very helpful, she sent me a lot of interesting places to visit in Can Tho. She also helped me book the boat and the bus. The location is great as it is near the Cai Rang float market, and there are a lot of food stores that we could walk by in minutes. The room is super clean with a comfy bed

The room is well-cleaned and equipped with the projector. I The staff—Dat is so informative and kind. Love the night scene of the homestay and the party with friends in the kitchen area. Such a peaceful place for couples and families to unwind. We also experience visiting Cai Rang Floating Market. "Bo Nhung Giam" is one of the most significant local foods nearby. The homestay is nearby the river; I recommend visitors ride the motorbike along the river to the "Gom" Cafe (the host recommended it for us), such a fantastic local coffee shop. The host is very dedicated, and every experience is worth it.

As soon as we stepped out of our Grab, we were greeted by Jimmy’s huge grin 😁 one of the friendliest and most helpful people I’ve ever met. After a quick introduction, he showed us to our room… and wow, what a space. It was large and well-equipped, with a table, two chairs, fridge, kettle, and even a sofa. The lighting was really nice too, which helped my unwell girlfriend relax. Everything was spotless, and the bathroom was great, with a hot shower. There was also a good-sized balcony with a table and two chairs. In the evenings, Jimmy cooked us some fantastic dinners. Honestly, I’d rate his cooking above most of the restaurants we tried, and the chicken with passion fruit was a standout. Don’t miss out on Jimmy’s tours. We did the floating market and the forest tour, and both were interesting and very relaxing. I’d 100% recommend booking these through him. On our first morning, his lovely wife Daisy prepared us breakfast and coffee. We were also free to use the kitchen, so we even fried up a few extra eggs ourselves. The location might not suit everyone, but it was perfect for us as we wanted a few days to properly unwind. It’s about a 25-minute taxi ride from the airport and 15 minutes to the bus terminal. Jimmy also helped us book sleeper bus tickets, which made things really easy. If I’m ever back in the area, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again 😁

The silence! Except the sounds of nature offcourse. We had a spectacular view. Also the activity floating market was top! Resto simple but good, gotta try the fish! One of the more spacious rooms we had on our three week trip.

My stay at Mekong Farmstay was truly wonderful. Human goes above and beyond to create a memorable, personal, and enriching experience from the moment you book. Communication is seamless, and his hospitality is exceptional. The private floating market tour with him is an absolute highlight and should not be missed. The morning begins with a peaceful bike ride to the boat dock, during which Human shares insights about the local community, culture, and native plants. Once on the water, I enjoyed a private tour of the floating market, a delicious breakfast on the boat, a walk through the vibrant wet market, a visit to a noodle factory and a stop for coffee. Back at the farmstay, I loved the home-cooked meals prepared by Human and his mother (available for a fee), as well as the freedom to explore the surrounding area by bike at my own pace. Most of all, I appreciated the meaningful conversations with Human. He is warm, thoughtful, and deeply knowledgeable about the region. The room and bathroom are rustic and simple, but clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything you need. There’s no AC as stated in the listing, but I found the fans more than sufficient. I highly recommend Mekong Farmstay to anyone looking for an authentic, peaceful, and welcoming experience in the Mekong Delta.

We loved the place, just right in front of the river. It's the perfect place for people looking for something more in nature. The staff was super friendly and helpful, Phi was our guide but he became our friend at the end. The room and the bed were big and spacious and the food was really good and affordable. The best place!

I was really looking forward to trying their food after reading all the great reviews, and it did not disappoint. Both the dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious. Phenix is a wonderful cook. She prepared a different dinner every night during our three-night stay, and every meal was incredibly tasty. The room was spacious and very clean. There is no hot shower, but the weather is quite warm, so the cool shower was actually refreshing. We are also quite used to cold showers anyway. The owner, Bosa… where should I start? Both Bosa and Phenix were very welcoming from the moment we arrived and were extremely helpful, giving us lots of information about Can Tho. We also joined Bosa’s floating market tour. It was so much fun and a great experience. He prepared everything very well for us and was an excellent guide. I highly recommend this tour. We would definitely love to come back again.
