This hotel was excellent! As a solo female traveller I was able to find the place easily and book a didi from the station to the hotel. Very very clean, very nice decor! Nice bathrooms and I slept like a log on their bed The staff were incredibly nice too. I had some issues with my wechat pay at first (my fault) but the staff said I could check in and exchange some cash to pay later. They even gave me some fruits when I checked in - and I ate them all lol The room I had was in the basement. It's the first time I ever liked a basement room - there was no window but the decor was so tasteful that I didn't feel claustrophobic at all It might sound like I'm laying it on a bit thick but I promise I'm not exaggerating when I say I enjoyed it. And their hair dryers are nice!!! V. Important when you have a lot of hair The lobby is very nice too - they have power banks you can rent and you can also just use the plug points in their very quiet lobby booths if you need to charge before heading some where Thank you to the staff for being so friendly :)

Shawn was very dedicated. A few days before our arrival, he sent us a letter reminding us of important details. Later, when we texted him about climbing Mount Hua, he always gave us clear instructions, putting our anxieties at ease! In the evening after our arrival, he took us to Yuquan Temple to familiarize ourselves with the area and to a supermarket to buy fruit. The guesthouse was uniquely decorated and very comfortable.

Pros: 1) Near to Drum Tower, Bell Tower, Muslim Street, Ancient Wall and other attractions in the area. 2) Very easy to find halal / muslim food. 3) Staff is not able to communicate in English but they do have translator on hand so communication was easy. Check-in, check-out and room change were done easily with the help of the translator. 4) Very nice looking and spacious room. Looks quite new. 5) Near to Metro station.

The location is fantastic. The hotel is across from the city wall and in the same corner as the big temple.

Amazing staff, very kind and helpful. We loved hanging out at the top floor, the view was beautiful. Traditional decoration and ambiance. Great room arrangement with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, made it easy to accommodate our larger party. The location is very convenient too.
