Very nice place super close to the airport, great for very early morning flights, the hostess helped us arranging the shuttle to the airport, and we had some good hours of sleep before our flight.

The apartment (house) was very clean, spacious, and felt like a home. Even though I booked a single room for $54, there were three extra beds, which is great for families or larger groups. The owners—a kind couple with three children—were incredibly hospitable. The wife speaks English well, and although the husband knows less, he made every effort to help. He even drove me to a nearby restaurant, 31 km to the old city, and all the way to the main tourist area, which took about two hours. He kindly dropped me off at Heroes’ Square, and I enjoyed a 20-minute walk from there. They also offered free airport drop-off, which was very convenient. The apartment had everything you might need—facilities for any kind cooking, doing laundry. It’s a quiet, local-feeling place that really makes you feel at home. In terms of safety, I checked crime statistics with ChatGPT, and it seems the area has lower crime rates than central Budapest.
