This homestay must be in one of the nicest parts of Goa - and I've traveled a few. Not far from the coastline, close to the marvels of Old Goa, next to Panjim and in a strategic position to visit both, North and South Goa, alike. And yet, over the centuries Casa Menezes in Batim has preserved the charm of a tranquil hideaway. The hosts, David and Nicole, are among the most generous and welcoming I've met. Their idea of creating a place where you make memories, meet other travelers from all directions and become part of a family really came to life. Their traditional Goan meals were fabulous.

Very nice room with beautiful furniture. A nice balcony adjacent to the room and also shared ones in the front of the house. A beautiful garden with very nice complementary breakfast. The owners are also very friendly and helpful. It’s in a relatively quiet area in Fontainhas, with no real traffic. The only noise at night is from the owls in the mango tree.
