Great location, safe neighborhood, lots of cafes, restaurants and green areas around. The patio was very nice. Room was small but clean. It was definitely good value for the price. Owner lady was very nice and helpful.

We were attending a conference at University of Mexico, so the location was perfect! The neighborhood is beautiful and charming with local markets, art galleries aimed at tourists, lots of supermarkets and convenience stores. Quiet at night! The courtyard and garden are beautiful and the room is nice. The building is amazing. Everyone was friendly.

The Hostel is Locatel at the fifth and last floor of a building located in a quiet but safe street. I loved staying here: the place has anything you need, fully equipped kitchen, a big terrace with a nice view and plenty of space for hanging out, laundry area with sinks and hanging lines. Being at the 5th floor, it’s a bit of a hike just the first time with the luggage, the rest of the time it’s not heavy at all. It’s super quiet compared to other hostel that are located at lower levels. The staff is the kindest: always ready to help sharing tips on CDMX and for any little thing they were present.

It was a joy to stay at Casa Tamayo. Everything was well kept, our room was delightful, and the staff were extremely warm, friendly, and welcoming. We stayed for 5 nights and it felt like the best home base we could have asked for.

The room was spotless, the bed and bedding was wonderful. The location couldn't be better. A short walk to the mercado and main zócalo. Two very nice restaurants in the same block! The attention of the host and directions on how to get in easily so you come and go at your on time was incredible. I highly recommend this beautiful little boutique hotel.
