I had a private room here and it was a great base for exploring Seoul. The location is excellent, right in the heart of the city with easy access to public transportation, restaurants, cafés, and major attractions. The room was clean, comfortable, and offered good privacy despite being in a hostel environment. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming. If you’re looking for an place to stay in a central location without sacrificing comfort, this is a solid choice.

My room was exactly as expected. It was clean and came with some extra toiletries that I’d been missing and was too tired to get when I initially arrived. The staff was very helpful to me, allowing me to check in early and helping me get back into my room after forgetting my room key card inside. They also allowed me to extend my stay by an extra day when I realized I’d booked my stay for too few nights.

It was a 5 minute walk to Sinchon station which was very convenient for us. The host was very friendly and accommodating and made sure that we have everything we need. second time around we got a room and he even upgraded us to a bigger room as well. I would highly recommend this, its way better than I thought with the cheap price.

The location of the facility was very convenient. It has a very accessible location from the subway stations. The hygiene overall of the facility was great! The rooms were clean, the staff were friendly as well. I think if I'm visiting Korea again, I would book this place again. Recommended for fellow visitors!

I stayed at Orginal Backpackers for over a month and, from a perspective of someone who had a fair share of travels - what a stay this was! Everything in this hostel is so good that it's hard to decide where to start with compliments. I'll start with the hosts - the unbelievably good hosts, so devoted to the hostel and their guests, going over and beyond for everyone to have a great stay. But above all, they are unbelievably wonderful people. The location of the hostel is 5 min away from the metro exit and it's quite central to the city (like 3 metro stations away from Myeondong) and well connected with all main parts and attractions of the city. The 4-beds shared dormitory is spatious enough for everyone even when you have big luggage and you get lockers in it too, while for the double-bed room I'd say it's like staying in a hotel. Both rooms, as well as the whole hostel in general, are always spotless clean and you get frequent change of sheets and a new towel whenever you need it as well. The shower rooms are great, the toilets are japanesse style and I never had to wait to get in. The (still free) breakfast is better than you could expect in many hotels, and there is a variaty of good quality kitchen utensils with which you can cook basically anything that comes to your mind. Aside from the kitchen, in the common area you can also do your laundry, watch tv, have a talk or even work. And then there is the fantastic rooftop, a perfect place to relax or to share travellers stories and make lifetime memories - I sure made quite a few. Thank you Jo-Young and In-Koo for everything, hope to see you again soon!
