The best hostel I ever stayed at. The owner Jonti is a truly genuine and great guy that shines a warm welcoming feeling. Despite the cyclone Ditwah happening Jonti gave us great advice and took care of us. Really glad I was staying at his place when it occurred. Everything was clean and maintained, the view of his garden where you see plenty of different animals was amazing. Eventually I stayed there for 5 days.

Great hostel, good vibes, friendly staff, comfy beds and facilities. Rented a scooter and joined the safaritour which was also great. They were flexible and fun and good people

It is a small guesthouse but rooms are large and spacious. There is plenty of ventilation with the ceiling fan and you sleep well at night. It is exactly like some of the other reviews, you are staying inside the jungle or a large botanical garden! It is within walking distance from the ancient city and just an inexpensive tuk-tuk ride from the new city which you do not want to stay in. The Coco Gardens is where you want to stay!

Manushaka was very friendly and always happy to help with suggestions about what to do. Location was a bit outside the city in a small neighborhood, so it wasn't close to much, but there was a nice garden with lots of animals always hanging around.. Scooter and bicycle rentals were easy to arrange and the food was very nice with the same price you'd expect at a local restaurant!
